Job summary

Softek International is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across hybrid environments. The role focuses on Zero Trust security, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA, and multi-cloud strategies, with extensive collaboration across teams to align solutions with business needs.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of enterprise networking and cloud security experience and holds CCIE and AWS Solutions Architect certifications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise network and cloud security.
• CCIE certification (or equivalent senior network architect level).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA in large-scale deployments.
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust security models.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions that are secure, scalable, and reliable.
• Collaborate with teams to align cloud solutions with business requirements.
• Develop and document cloud architecture blueprints and integrate with on-prem environments.
• Lead design and deployment of cloud infrastructure components in public/private/hybrid clouds.
• Plan and execute migrations of on-premises systems to the cloud.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
• Design security controls for cloud environments and ensure data protection.
• Work with security teams to meet compliance requirements.
• Stay current on cloud security threats and best practices.

Job description

Design and develop enterprise network architecture for LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, data center, and cloud connectivity.

Design, deploy, and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions.

Architect secure internet and private application access using a Zero Trust security model.

• Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions that are secure, scalable, and reliable.


• Collaborate with teams to understand business requirements and ensure cloud solutions align with these needs.


• Develop and document cloud architecture blueprints and ensure proper integration with on-premises environments when necessary.


• Lead the design and deployment of cloud infrastructure components (networking, load balancers, firewalls, API gateways, etc.) in a public/private/hybrid cloud environment.


• Plan and execute migrations of on-premises systems and applications to the cloud.


• Ensure that cloud infrastructure is designed for high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.


• Design and implement security controls for cloud environments, including identity management, network security, encryption, and data protection.


• Work with security teams to ensure cloud solutions meet compliance requirements


• Stay current on cloud security threats and best practices to safeguard infrastructure and data.
