Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to contribute at an architectural level with hands-on integration experience. The role requires deep IAM policy language knowledge, Identity Center expertise, and strong AWS governance understanding.

Expect participation in design reviews, architectural recommendations, and risk awareness. Excellent communication and strategic thinking are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer.
• Hands-on integration experience (current).
• Ability to communicate, strategize and think at architectural level.
• Strong understanding of cloud security architecture and governance frameworks.
• Experience being part of design reviews and making architectural recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design reviews and raise risk awareness.
• Propose and implement architecture-level recommendations for cloud solutions.
• Work with IAM policy language and Identity Center to secure access.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliant cloud governance.

Job description

Must haves:

• 7+ years' experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer
• Hands on integration experience (current)
• Ability to communicate, strategize and think at architectural level
• Strong understanding of cloud security architecture and governance frameworks
• Experience being apart of design reviews and making architectural recommendations/raising risk awareness
• Identity Center/and IAM - must have deep understanding of IAM policy language
• Strong AWS Identity Center experience
• Event Driven API Development: Python, Lambda, State-machines
• AWS governance experience, including policies, SCPs, RCPs, and related controls
• Soft skills: Strong communication skills are a must
• Candidate must have the ability to speak, think, and strategize at the architecture level and be able to weigh in and implement solutions. They do not necessarily need to have the architect title, just architecturally sound.
