Job Description

An elite technology team is seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer to help design, automate, and operate a next-generation cloud platform supporting high-performance systems across a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder who thrives on solving complex infrastructure challenges and scaling modern cloud services.

What You’ll Do

• Lead design and implementation of secure, highly available cloud environments.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Automate everything — from provisioning to deployments — using tools like Terraform, Python, and Puppet.
• Build and manage Kubernetes-based platforms with Docker, Helm, and modern container runtimes.
• Develop self-service infrastructure capabilities and internal platform tools.
• Monitor, optimize, and continuously improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Participate in an engineering rotation supporting mission-critical systems.

Job Requirements

About You

• 5+ years of experience building and managing complex cloud infrastructures (AWS preferred).
• Deep expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and key AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, etc.).
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, security, and operations (EKS, AKS, or GKE experience ideal).
• Skilled in scripting and automation with Python and Bash.
• Strong Linux background and working knowledge of hybrid networking, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies.
• Experience with disaster recovery, cloud security, and performance tuning.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Cloud architecture and strategy design experience.
• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Kubernetes CKA/CKAD/CKS.
• Familiarity with Ansible, FinOps, or AI/ML infrastructure management.
• Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
