Job summary

AnaVation is seeking an experienced, senior-level CloudDeveloper to design and implement cloud service delivery models and architectures. You will automate cloud resources using DevSecOps practices and support a hybrid cloud infrastructure for enterprise services.

This position is 100% on-site in Chantilly, VA. The role requires an active TS clearance with SCI access eligibility and experience with SAFe, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud security in government environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience.
• Active TS clearance with SCI/CI polygraph eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud service delivery models for PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, DaaS.
• Automate cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.
• Migrate on-prem applications to the cloud and optimize costs.
• Collaborate with infra and dev teams for seamless integration.
• Ensure secure cloud environments with uptime designs.
• Support Agile rituals like PI planning and ART events.

Description of Task to be Performed

AnaVation is seeking an experienced, senior-level CloudDeveloper to design and implement cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks. In this role, you’llautomate cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices and help support a robust hybrid cloud infrastructure thatdelivers reliable, high-bandwidth services across the enterprise. This position is 100% on-site in Chantilly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks to enable PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS
• Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices
• Analyze applications and make recommendations for migration to cloud environments
• Provide strategies for failure/recovery and cost optimization of cloud services
• Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud
• Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for the use of cloud services
• Establish secure cloud environments and ensure appropriate availability/uptime design
• Work independently designing and developing new software products for cloud environments
• Enhance existing cloud software for performance and scalability
• Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
• Support the multi-enclave environment
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure seamless integration

This position requires an active Top Secret (TS) clearance and the ability to obtain SCI access with a CI polygraph. This position is on-site with our customer in Chantilly, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with a CI polygraph.
• Experience with SAFe Agile framework
• Strong understanding of cloud security requirements in government environments
• Proficiency with:
  • AWS GovCloud
  • SC2S
  • C2S cloud platforms
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Cloud security implementation
  • CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments
  • Monitoring and logging solutions
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) preferred
• Knowledge of Nutanix and Terraform
• Experience with:
  • Python, .NET C#, or other development languages
  • DevSecOps practices and tools
  • Microservices architecture
  • API Gateway implementation
  • Elasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platforms
  • SAFe Agile methodologies
  • Cost optimization techniques for cloud resources
  • Hybrid cloud and on-premises integration
