Job summary

Colla Health is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to support growth in a fast-paced healthcare startup. This is a fully remote 1099 independent contractor role, partnering with leadership to attract top clinical and corporate talent and to influence hiring decisions while delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

You will own the full lifecycle from sourcing through offer, build proactive pipelines across multiple states, and advise founders on role requirements and interview

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Healthcare recruiting experience required; behavioral health preferred.
• Experience recruiting licensed clinicians (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist, PMHNP).
• Strong understanding of multi-state licensure requirements.
• Proven ability to recruit passive candidates in competitive markets.

Responsibilities

Sr Clinical Talent Acquisition Partner - Contract

About the Role

Colla Health is entering an exciting phase of growth and is seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to support our next stage of expansion.

This is more than a traditional recruiting role.

You'll partner directly with leadership to attract exceptional talent, influence hiring decisions, and deliver an outstanding hiring experience while helping build high-performing teams.

This is a fully remote 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through offer acceptance for clinical and corporate positions.


• Recruit across key roles including Behavioral Health Care Managers, Psychiatric Consultants, Outreach & Engagement Specialists, and other critical business functions.


• Develop innovative sourcing strategies to identify exceptional talent in highly competitive markets.

Build Talent Pipelines

• Develop and maintain proactive pipelines of behavioral health professionals across multiple states.


• Build relationships with passive candidates and create long-term talent communities before hiring needs become urgent.


• Utilize market intelligence to anticipate hiring trends and workforce challenges.

Partner with Leadership

• Serve as a trusted advisor to founders and hiring managers on recruiting strategy, market conditions, and hiring decisions.


• Help define role requirements, interview strategies, and selection criteria.


• Maintain a high hiring bar and confidently challenge hiring managers when necessary to ensure exceptional hiring decisions.

Deliver an Exceptional Candidate Experience

• Serve as an ambassador for Colla Health throughout the hiring process.


• Ensure every candidate receives a professional, responsive, and transparent experience regardless of hiring outcome.


• Build relationships that strengthen Colla Health's employer brand within the behavioral health community.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.


• Healthcare recruiting experience required, with behavioral health recruiting strongly preferred.


• Experience recruiting licensed clinicians, including LCSWs, LPCs, LMFTs, Psychologists, PMHNPs, or similar provider types.


• Strong understanding of clinical licensure requirements and multi-state healthcare recruiting.


• Demonstrated success recruiting within startup, high-growth, or rapidly scaling organizations.


• Proven ability to proactively source, engage, and recruit passive candidates in competitive markets.


• Experience partnering directly with founders, executives, and hiring leaders.


• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence hiring decisions and serve as a trusted talent advisor.


• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.


• A builder's mindset with the ability to create structure where little exists.


• Resourceful, self-directed, and comfortable working with ambiguity.


• A sense of urgency balanced with a commitment to hiring exceptional talent.
