POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinical Supervisor is the lead position in guiding the professional growth of our team, from clinician skill development to leadership enrichment. Through strategic programs and initiatives, this position will provide support, guidance, direction, and supervision to assigned clinical staff. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible and accountable for providing services, overseeing clinical programs, and monitoring staff under his/her supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Carrying a caseload to meet set billable services, including:
  • Providing a minimum of 100 billable supervision services a month.
  • Ensuring that 85% of all clinical services are provided monthly.
  • Providing an average of 3 days of on-site services based on the clinical needs of the caseload and in coordination with the DOCS.
  • Managing a caseload to meet clinical quality standards, including:
  • Manage billable services assigned by DOCS.
  • Manage the clinical outcomes of all Client including utilization of treatment hours.
  • Enforce and establish action plans created to enhance clinical outcomes.
  • Individualizing Client program development cross skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.
  • Monitoring Client progress, conducting ongoing assessment, and making data-driven adjustments to the treatment plan as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of Client progress, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Providing ongoing feedback to the Clinical Care Team regarding supervision, treatment development, and implementation.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine clients' needs and develop tailored ABA programs.
  • Expertise in complex cases and behavior issues that include but not limited to comprehensive FBAs, multi-faceted BIPs, and analysis skills for program adjustment.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to provide well-rounded support and care.
  • Supervising a clinical team of Assistant Clinical Supervisors and Behavior Interventionists:
  • Providing ongoing training, guidance, and support to ensure treatment fidelity and client progress.
  • Providing formal performance evaluations with respect to following program procedures, administrative tasks (timesheet submission, etc.) direct therapy, and parent training skills.
  • Providing clinical consultation that includes behavior plans and programming to clinical staff.
  • Ensure that the Clients under his/her supervision are receiving their billable services.
  • Completing reports for behavioral health treatment plans for the caseload, including:
  • Written data-driven program summaries of the services provided during the authorization period.
  • Oversee the treatment plans, transition plan, recommendation, and request for treatment of all Clients under his/her supervision.
  • Accountable for the submission of reports prior to the deadline indicated by the Director of Clinical Services.
  • Providing parent training.
  • Meets qualifications to review reports within the Company and will provide support and feedback to Clinician’s progress reports and submission process.
  • Maintaining reliable communication to record scheduled appointments and return phone calls within 24 hours.
  • Ensuring that the company’s “zero tolerance policy” is understood, implemented, and reinforced in the region.
  • Ensuring that Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) compliance is understood and reinforced in the region.
  • Complying with all Mandated Reporting Laws and Regulations.


Leadership Duties:

  • Leading a Clinical Care team that includes, but not limited to managing utilization action plans, conversations with staff and Caregivers, and leading team meetings and case review.
  • Timely completes other duties assigned by DOCS or other members of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Keeps immediate supervisor well informed of activities, results of efforts, problems identified, potential problems, needs, etc.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately assess the need to escalate matters to DOCS for input and assessment.
  • Takes on leadership roles within the Company, which includes, but is not limited to policy development, quality assurance, and strategic planning.


Business Management Duties:

  • Implement the strategies from DOCS to timely achieve financial targets.
  • Understand the financial implications of key performance indicators to the key needs, areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions within your team.
  • Knowledge of data analysis that are assigned in a Clinical Care Team to support the key metrics are met, which include, but not limited to utilization, contract hours, and census.


NON – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Completing all duties, tasks, and/or special projects assigned by leaders and/or the business.
  • Participating in team meetings, trainings, continual education, and professional development opportunities.
  • Providing direct services, if necessary, to supervise more efficiently.
  • Conducting staff meetings and professional development meetings as indicated.
  • Maintaining reliable transportation and current liability insurance (if applicable).
  • Familiarity with funding provider standards and guidelines.
  • Providing BCBA supervision to supervisors and BCBA interns.
  • Providing parent and employee training as needed and approved.
  • Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must possess an active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Desired 2 years clinical experience including:
  • Direct service delivery with individuals with varying diagnoses, diverse levels of functioning, and broad range of ages.
  • Implement Client behavior plans across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.
  • Report writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Minimum of 2 year BCBA (or equivalent) supervision experience including:
  • Formal staff training including didactic and in-vivo.
  • Formal performance evaluation of junior staff.
  • Evaluation of more junior staff with respect to clinical programming, administrative tasks, direct therapy, and parent-training skills.
  • Client program development across skill levels, moderate to severe problem behaviors, and service delivery settings.
  • Expertise in all empirically evaluated assessment and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent clinical and leadership skills.
  • Fluency with all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, honest, articulate, excellent time management skills, and skills to work independently.
  • Professional demeanor, well-organized, and attention to detail.
  • Skills consistent with serving culturally and linguistically diverse families in low and high socio-economic status areas.
  • Comfortable working in homes (studio apt. housing project, etc.) of families with limited


resources.

  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to interact with Clients, family members, and agency’s staff.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 year BCBA (or equivalent) supervision experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.

EDUCATION:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Must possess a Master’s Degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Maintaining all applicable personal certifications, licenses, professional insurances, TB clearance up to date.
  • Naming the company as certificate holder of the Professional Liability Insurance (if applicable).

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of staff.
