McKesson Med-Surg is seeking a Clinical Support Manager to join our team in the East Coast. This position will serve as our subject matter expert in Wound/Skin Care, Ostomy and Continence Care. This role is responsible for providing clinical support to sales teams and customers across the US.

Additionally, this role is responsible for educating existing and potential customers on quality patient care, particularly around wound and skin care in post-acute care facilities, Assisted Living, Home Care, Hospice and HME located throughout the US as directed by the Director of the Clinical Team. This role is responsible for providing clinical expertise via customer educational programs and resources. Emphasis is on McKesson brand products with focus on urological/ incontinence, advanced wound care, and skin care products.

The ideal candidate will reside in a major city in the East Coast with proximity to an airport for travel.

Responsibilities:

Educate

  • Collaborate with the CRT and Marketing Team on the development of customer facing educational resources and presentations
  • Provide training/education on McKesson products to customers, potential customers, and sales teams via Webex and live presentations
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on products to clinicians at McKesson customer sites
  • Provide clinical updates to sales leaders/sales teams
  • Conduct clinical reviews and assessment for best practice recommendations

Sell

  • Interface with customers, key decision makers, and sales teams, providing clinical perspective related to Mckesson products
  • Participate on sales presentations
  • Provide implementation support to new accounts/customers
  • Participate in sales regional, district, and national meetings

Improve

  • Participate and act as McKesson ambassador at clinical conferences
  • Identify standardization opportunities for customers (i.e. formulary development/guidance)
  • Participate on research and development-new ideas, product testing, clinical trials

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Business Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' clinician experience in post-acute care, preferably in a leadership capacity (to include direct wound management experience)
  • Sales or sales support experience preferred
  • Healthcare manufacturer/ distribution industry experience preferred

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • WOCN Certification or equivalent (CWVN, CWS, CWOCN, CWCA, WCC, CHWS, COCN) preferred.
  • Nursing degree preferred.
  • Adaptive and solutions-based approach to working with customers/sales teams
  • Able to multi-task effectively and manage shifting priorities
  • Strong consultation and communication skills; able to collaborate well with a diverse range of people; tactful, professional, and flexible
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and navigate organizational complexity and change
  • Strong customer focus orientation along with ability to persuade and influence outcomes
  • Professional, engaging and confident demeanor
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment
  • High level of computer proficiency using MS Office applications
  • Able to travel 25-40% within assigned territory with occasional need to support locations outside assigned territory

Working Conditions:

  • Home Office environment with frequent travel

Physical Requirements:

  • Significant amount of time performing computer and phone-based work is required
  • Significant amount of time spent traveling via automobile

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$105,800 - $176,300
