Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead service teams on large accounts, coordinating carrier relationships and developing placement/renewal strategies.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining carrier relationships and perform marketing activities for large accounts.
  • Prepare risk maps and review peer risk maps for assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate service delivery and complete special projects.
  • Identify opportunities for process and business improvements and escalate issues to leadership.
  • Mentor new colleagues when requested.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong technical knowledge of insurance market conditions and carrier underwriting appetites.
  • Ability to analyze complex risks and develop appropriate recommendations.
  • Excellent client service and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional insurance designation or working towards it.
  • At least five years’ experience in Account Management.
  • Active Life and Health license for California.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Aligned with corporate values and culture.

Other:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Some travel may be required.

Compensation: Starting salary $90,000-$110,000 annually, negotiable based on experience.
