Job summary

Mobilitas, created by CSAA Insurance Group, is hiring a Sr. Claims Specialist, Commercial Casualty for a remote role across the United States (exceptions: Hawaii and Alaska).

You will resolve 1st and 3rd party injury claims, handle coverage and liability questions, participate in FNOL, and coordinate across regions while maintaining strong client relationships. You will need 4+ years in casualty claims, an active adjuster license across applicable states, and a willingness to travel for

Responsibilities

• Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision.
• Handle all aspects of liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity to include coverage, liability and damage concerns.
• Handle 1st party exposures including Medical Payment coverage, PIP, UM/UIM, and Auto-Death Benefit claims.
• Assist in FNOL and participate in department phone queue as needed.
• Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work of a complex nature.
• Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims with insureds, claimants or reps.
• Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisor or committee.
• Travel for role and attend in-person meetings as needed.
• Fulfills business needs and supports other teams as required.

We are actively hiring for a Sr. Claims Specialist, Commercial Casualty - Remote

Your Role

As a Sr. Claims Specialist, Commercial Casualty, you will be responsible to resolve all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity for personal lines as well as our commercial claims. Your duties will require you to become licensed in several states as you will be handling claims in a multitude of regions across the nation.

Your Work

• Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision.
• Handle all aspects of liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity to include all coverage, liability and damage concerns.
• Handle 1st party exposures to include Medical Payment coverage, PIP, Uninsured Motorists, Under-insured Motorists claims as well as ADB (Auto-Death Benefit) claims.
• Assist in taking first notice of loss calls (FNOL) and participate in the department phone queue as needed.
• Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work of a complex nature, advising customers as to accurate course of action related to coverage issues.
• Make appropriate liability determinations based upon the evidence gathered.
• Evaluate any potential for subrogation and initiate an initial notice of subrogation request.
• Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively and efficiently with insureds, claimants, or representatives of the injured parties.
• Communicate pertinent case facts to a supervisor, manager or committee when appropriate.
• Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.).
• Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters: helping onboard new team members, building relationships, etc.).
• Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings and other in-person meetings.
• Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.

Required Experience, Education and Skills

• 4+ years of claims experience with a minimum of 3+ years in casualty adjuster experience.
• High school (HS/GED) or a minimum of 3 years experience in casualty claims role within P&C insurance industry.
• Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain license(s) within 90 days of filling position as a condition of employment.

What would make us excited about you

• BA/BS in business, insurance or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commercial Claims handling experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

The national average salary range for this position is $74,295.00-$82,550.00. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on work location. The starting pay range for this position across all the states we hire in is $74,295.00-$99,050.00. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 8% of eligible pay.Colorado Specific Job Range :$74,295.00 - $90,600.00This job posting will be unposted on Sat, 10 Oct 2026.
