The Sr Claims Administrator is responsible for the oversight of environmental incidents to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. This role will provide guidance and support to the EHS team, Legal & Risk Management, and onsite teams to reduce potential liability and exposure to the Company.

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing pollution coverage claims through the entire life cycle, from incident notification to completion of work. This role will act as a liaison between Onesite staff, EHS Team, Legal & Risk Management. as needed.
  • Responsible for investigating and evaluating claims (with a heavy emphasis on pollution coverage claims).
  • Provides quality claim handling in accordance with established procedures throughout the claim life cycle and ensures file quality and timely claim analysis and communication with claimants.
  • Establishes facts of loss, investigation, and damage assessment.
  • Exercises proper judgment and decision making to analyze claims, and provide recommendations about claims handling.
  • Proactively reviews Claim File for adherence to quality standards and trend analysis.
  • Tracks and controls legal expenses to assure cost-effective resolution.
  • Responsible for prompt and proper disposition of all claims within delegation of authority.
  • Evaluates all claims for recovery potential; directly handles recovery efforts and/or engages and directs Company resources for recovery efforts.
  • Provides support to Community Management to ensure prompt, accurate, and appropriate communication with Residents.
  • Able to clearly communicate concise action plans, and present plans for moving the case to conclusion.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Education:

Experience:

  • At least 4 years of bodily injury litigation claim handling experience preferred.
  • Extensive claim and/or legal experience and technical expertise to evaluate severe and complete claims.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced level knowledge in coverage, liability and damages analysis and has a thorough understanding of pollution litigation process, relevant case and statutory law and expert litigation management skills preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Multilingual ability a plus.
  • Regular, consistent and timely attendance is required (non-exempt).

Compensation:

Base Pay Range:$30.19 -$40.77

Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
