Crawford & Company in California is seeking a Senior Claims Examiner – Workers' Compensation to join our team. You will investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex CA WC claims with autonomy, leveraging SIP certification and extensive claims experience.

This role offers a strong blend of independence, collaboration with defense counsel, and mentoring of new hires, with a focus on large-loss cases and high-quality settlements.

Qualifications

• SIP Certification is required.
• Proven experience handling California Workers Compensation claims.
• Strong background in managing advanced, large-loss, and complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve advanced, large-loss, and complex Workers Compensation claims with a high degree of autonomy.
• Analyze compensability, determine liability, manage reserves, and negotiate claim settlements.
• Partner with defense counsel on litigated matters and mentor new hires.
