Core Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of airport engineering projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Oversee design components, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage project documentation.
• Develop proposals, bid packages, feasibility studies, and technical assessments.
• Ensure budget and schedule adherence, monitor milestones, and manage risks.
• Represent the organization in meetings, presenting technical details and progress updates.
• Address project challenges, enforce contract specifications, and oversee quality assurance.
• Mentor junior engineers in airport design and project execution.

Business Development

• Support marketing efforts and attend industry events to expand business opportunities.
• Build relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to project scopes and fee proposals for management review.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience, preferably in aviation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars and funding processes.
• Familiarity with South Carolina airport infrastructure is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Licensure & Certifications

• PE licensure in South Carolina (or ability to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license.
