Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. in Illinois is seeking a Civil Engineer for the Municipal Group to plan, design, and manage water and wastewater projects for local municipalities and private clients.

You will mentor staff, maintain relationships with authorities, and engage in business development while coordinating with multiple projects and teams across offices.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 8–15 years of municipal, water, wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer - PE License.
• Project management experience.
• Team player that can manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Sanitary sewer and water main design experience.
• Experience working with local and state government organizations.
• Familiar with Illinois EPA permitting and funding application processes.
• Enthusiasm for business development.

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Municipal Group to join our team. In this role, you will work with local municipalities and private clients to plan, design and manage the construction of water and wastewater projects as well as the other various civil engineering projects.
