Job Description

As a Sr Channel Sales Representative at Honeywell, you will drive the sale of products, systems, and services through resellers and channels to achieve sales and profit goals. You will identify, approach, and develop relationships with key or strategic partners, setting both short and long-term channel strategies. Your role will involve fostering reseller satisfaction and performance, developing customer relationships through partnering with general wholesalers, distributors, or resellers, and providing education on Honeywell products via technical presentations. You will also manage, maintain, and report on opportunities through regular business reviews, analyze market trends and competitive intelligence, and drive business through our e-commerce portal.

You will report to the Sales Manager and work remotely when not visiting clients. The territory for this role includes the Midwest and Western areas of the US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to executive and other customer stakeholders
  • Identify and develop new relationships with potential customer stakeholders
  • Oversee and manage customer relationships for an assigned book of accounts
  • Identify cross-/up-sell opportunities for strategic, high-growth/NPI products using SFDC data and collaboration with sales reps
  • Understand and articulate the value propositions of Honeywell solutions and offerings
  • Monitor product usage data to identify opportunities to improve adoption, pursue renewals, up-sell, or cross-sell
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization, including Finance/Pricing, Legal, Customer Success, and Offering Management
Compensation

The annual base salary ranges from $85,000 to $130,000 in California and New York (excluding major metro areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii. For Washington and major metro areas in NY & California, the range is $90,000 to $135,000. Salary offers are influenced by various factors including experience, education, skills, and market conditions. The position is eligible for incentive plans.

Qualifications

You Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or sales, with a proven track record in managing key accounts and driving revenue growth
  • 3+ years of BMS sales experience, specifically HVAC, Automation and Controls, and BAS software
