This role is responsible for managing the portfolio of projects and changes affecting Fresh Stores. The manager will refine the current project management strategy and develop a seamless, streamlined, and repeatable process that is easily understandable and usable organization-wide. The Sr. Change Manager must be assertive—capable of respectfully but effectively challenging all levels of the organization to ensure projects and programs are appropriate, well-vetted, and properly timed for store rollouts.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Advocating for the store during all business engagements to ensure a consistent and valuable experience.
  2. Building and maintaining comprehensive project timelines to provide visibility of upcoming changes to store teams.
  3. Conducting regular stakeholder meetings to keep the AFS project portfolio current.
  4. Identifying opportunities for automation and developing solutions to enable such tools and applications.
  5. Supporting strategic documents like OP1 and business QBRs with relevant stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Ownership of program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communication of results to senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in project management or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Quip, and OneNote.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.
  • At least 3 years of retail experience.

Additional preferred qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in process improvement.
  • Master's degree or MBA in business, operations, HR, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related fields.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA).
  • Experience working with Smartsheets.
  • Experience in complex organizational settings (e.g., PMO, geographically dispersed teams).
  • Experience managing large, cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment with ambiguity.
  • Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Strategic thinking with tactical execution capabilities.
