Job summary

Volkert is seeking Sr. CEI Inspectors and Inspectors to join the Volkert family in the Mid Atlantic Region in West Virginia.

Immediate openings to support existing clients and participate on challenging urban mega projects as well as rural projects around West Virginia statewide. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2–6+ years of highway project experience; DOT certifications are highly desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2–6+ years of highway project experience with bridges, roadways, utilities or paving.
• DOT certifications are highly desired and DOT experience is a plus.
• Bridge construction or site management experience is advantageous.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
• If applicable, may require a post-offer fit-for-duty evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Support existing clients on urban mega and rural road projects in WV.
• Participate in project oversight and quality control on highway sites.
• Coordinate with clients and field teams to ensure safety and compliance.

Volkert is searching for Sr. CEI Inspectors and Inspectors to join the Volkert family in the Mid Atlantic Region in West Virginia.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.

Immediate openings for qualified professionals to support existing clients and participate on challenging urban mega projects as well as rural projects in areas around West Virginia statewide.

Qualifications

• 2 - 6+ years of experience in highway projects of varying complexity including bridge construction, roadway, utility, and asphalt paving
• DOT certifications highly desired
• DOT experience a plus
• Bridge construction experience and/or Site Manager expertise are desired
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines.
• Valid driver's license.
• A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
• If applicable to the position, a post offer fit for duty evaluation to ensure the individual can safely perform the essential functions of the role.
