The Implementation Consultant is responsible for current workflow analysis and development, documenting, planning, and implementing future state workflows and customer training.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Conduct Current State Workflow Analysis; design Future State Workflow (including System Workflow and Department Process Workflow).
  2. Determine application optimization within the department and provide the customer with Best Practice methodologies.
  3. Analyze unique configurations of customer sites and customize processes and training; accordingly, develop training plans and documentation.
  4. Coordinate and provide Superuser application training; ensure that all Super Users can train customer End Users and understand any unique customer site requirements.
  5. Provide Application Training and support to other staff from other groups as required; identify, file, and follow-up Product Features and issue requests during implementation.

Required Qualifications
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, Registered Cardiac Interventional Radiography, X-ray Technologist, or Registered Nurse (RCIS, RCVT, AART, R.T.(R), RN).
  • 4+ years of recent experience in one or more of the above roles in a hospital cath lab.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency using PowerPoint (specifically creating and presenting for training to diverse audiences).
  • Understanding of Clinical Environment and Healthcare Operations.
  • Experience communicating with and presenting to stakeholders and/or C-Suite Leaders.
  • Willing and able to travel approximately 75% of the time as business needs dictate, including overnight stays across North America.
  • Able to qualify for a company credit card for travel purposes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Security Plus Certification.
  • Familiarity with document/registry standards and credentialing such as JCAHO, CathPCI registry, STS, and ACC TVT registry.
  • Knowledge of medical communication protocols (DICOM / HL7 / XML).
  • Experience with Medical Imaging, SQL Databases, informatics, and Enterprise-class Information Systems.
  • Experience in Echo, Vascular, and Nuclear Medicine.
  • Eligibility for Department of Defense clearance where required.

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually, based on full-time employment and various factors including location, education, experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group offers comprehensive benefits, incentive and recognition programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions. Benefits vary by eligibility.
