Strategic Innovation Group (SIG) is a fast-growing company that provides technical and professional products and services to U.S. Federal government agencies. Our growth is dependent upon business development activities that lead to contract awards and providing exceptional service to our clients on those contracts. SIG seeks an experienced Sr. Capture Manager with proven success - contract and task order wins resulting in significant revenue . The candidate will work closely with the executive management team to identify, qualify, and create winning solutions for federal contract opportunities that the company is pursuing. This Sr. Capture Manager will lead the capture process on multiple federal contract opportunities. They will develop and implement the overall win strategy on specific efforts; figure out what it will take to win and execute accordingly. This person will know how to identify the true government influencers for those opportunities and identify means to get our message to them. This position reports to the President & COO.

Salary: $175K-$200K

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Dig into all prior information available on targeted opportunities, understanding staffing, pricing, what is working well for the incumbent (if applicable), and what is not working.
  • Identify the 'secret sauce' needed to differentiate SIG, and help deliver upon that solution.
  • Managing identification and qualification of opportunities and lead pipeline meetings, assisting with the interactive pipeline tracking for qualified opportunities.
  • Coordinate customer / teaming partner call plans.
  • Manage hand-off of capture plan and win strategies to the Proposal Manager.
  • Continuously refine win strategies, as required, to support proposal development.
  • Complete teaming agreements.
  • Provide recommendations for bid reviews.
  • Support the Proposal Manager to ensure win strategies are incorporated into the proposal.
  • Provide recommendations for customer negotiations.
  • Performs analytical research and prepare marketing strategies and opportunity briefs.
  • Assist with marketing research activities in local, regional, or areas, which includes analyzing or assisting in the analysis of Government and/or commercial targets in support of the company's mission and strategic plans.
  • Gather and analyze information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution.
  • Maintain corporate information on company business targets.
  • Advise the team on relevant updates or customer concerns impacting targets.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum ten plus (10+) years' federal contracting experience with at least five plus (5+) years of capture management.
  • Demonstrated evidence of successful capture efforts.
  • Strong record of proven contract/task order wins.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to prioritize and meet multiple competing deadlines.
  • Expert written and oral communication.
  • English fluency.
  • Expert with Deltek GovWin.
  • Significant experience with a CRM tool.
  • Experience developing and enhancing white papers and RFI's.

Education and Certification:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Be a U.S. with a current or ability to get federal clearance (Public Trust or above) or an active clearance from a Federal Agency.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Must work a minimum expected 1,920 hours per year.
