The Senior CAD Designer is responsible for drafting land development plan sets using AutoCAD for various retail, commercial, industrial, and residential site projects.

1. Plan and prepare preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings based on engineering notes, sketches, or other drawings, ensuring compliance with standards and codes.
2. Draft Land Development Plans, Zoning Plans, Concept Plans, and Construction Documents.
3. Create Site Plan Renderings for Municipal Presentations.
4. Collaborate with Engineers, Designers, and Drafters to maintain coordinated design efforts.
5. Complete drawing and project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule; review drawings for accuracy and completeness.
6. Organize and maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files, and related information.
7. Utilize third-party applications like AutoTURN and AGI32 for specific project requirements.
8. Prepare grading designs and possess knowledge of site topography and interpolation.
9. Perform earthwork analysis, including cut/fill takeoffs.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a technical degree or certificate from an accredited program, 5-8 years of AutoCAD experience in site development, with land development design experience and Civil 3D knowledge being a plus. A high school diploma is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have strong CAD skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
