Key Responsibilities

Must have seasoning/spices or ingredient purchasing experience

1. Manage the order and confirmation process in real time.
2. Facilitate global strategic sourcing of packaging, food ingredients, and contract manufacturing.
3. Manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, shipping stipulations, and on-time, complete delivery.
4. Develop and maintain packaging and ingredient supply strategies to support production and sales requirements.
5. Optimize inventory to minimize stagnant, obsolete, and expired shelf-life inventories.
6. Collaborate with other departments to achieve finished goods delivery performance that meets customer expectations.
7. Identify and eliminate chronic problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Experience in food ingredients and raw materials highly preferred.
• Manufacturing and supply chain experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain and negotiate supplier relationships and agreements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required to optimize supplier relationships and performance.
