Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Buyer in Longmont, CO to support procurement for advanced directed-energy laser systems. This role sources highly technical materials, including optics, custom-manufactured parts, and complex assemblies, while managing suppliers, negotiations, purchase orders, delivery performance, and ERP data.

The role partners closely with engineering and program teams and requires experience purchasing within manufacturing and government program environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of buyer/purchasing experience.
• 5+ recent years supporting a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years purchasing for government programs.
• Experience sourcing technical/manufactured components.
• Supplier management and contract negotiation experience.
• Experience working across multiple ERP systems.
• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• Dynamics 365 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source highly technical optics, custom-manufactured parts, and complex assemblies.
• Manage suppliers, negotiations, and purchase orders.
• Track delivery performance and ERP data accuracy.
• Partner with engineering and program teams.
