NBCUniversal is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to join our HR technology team focused on SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding solutions.

You will engage with HR business partners, vendors, and IT to design, configure, test, and optimize HR systems across SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, and third-party SaaS tools. The role demands hands-on configuration, reporting, and collaboration across multiple offices, with after‑hours deployment readiness and travel within the USA as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS, IT, or related tech field.
• 5+ years delivering HR/IT solutions.
• Hands-on config in SuccessFactors.
• 3+ years with SaaS HR solutions (SF, SmartRecruiters, PageUp).
• Experience with SAP HCM / Employee Central.
• Travel within the USA as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business partners to capture processes and needs.
• Collaborate with vendors, business partners and IT teams to implement solutions.
• Provide innovative solutions beyond system limitations.
• Execute system configuration and create reports (Report Stories, BIRT, other native reporting tools, etc.)
• Collaborate on authorization model designs and work with engineering teams for enhancement / automation requirements (SAP BTP, automations, AI)
• Manage and execute project activities for applications/modules in scope.
• Provide day-to-day support for applications/modules (tickets, vendor release adoption, IT governance tasks, enhancements, etc.)
• Ability to navigate SAP HCM OM/PA modules for Talent Management specific data, understand and create RICEF specifications
• Continuously review and optimize existing SAP HCM, SuccessFactors and other 3rd party SaaS solutions

The Sr. Business Analyst will be responsible for executing NBCU’s strategy and work in an HR technology team focused on SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding solutions. Currently, the application portfolio includes SuccessFactors, SmartRecruiters, and ClickBoarding products, which are expected to be consolidated within a 3-5 year time frame.

Engagement with HR business partners is a critical competency of this role. Collaboration with a team of technology professionals as well as engaging with vendors and an engineering team are essential tasks to perform project and support activities. This role requires hands‑on application configuration and testing work as well as collaborating across teams to enable enhancement development, reporting/analytics and security requirements for holistic solutions.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Systems Engineering, or other relevant fields in technology; or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of delivering high-quality HR/IT solutions and related project/support work
• 5+ years experience with core HR systems (preferred SAP HCM / SF Employee Central) and employee life cycle management (hire-to-retire)
• Hands‑on configuration experience in SuccessFactors
• 3+ years experience with SaaS HR solutions, specifically SuccessFactors, optional SmartRecruiters and PageUp
• 3+ years of experience in requirements gathering techniques, solution modeling, and documentation
• Expertise in SuccessFactors Onboarding (2.0); Employee Central / BizX / IAS touch point knowledge is required
• Understanding of SaaS recruiting solutions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Foundational knowledge of HR Talent Management processes, specifically for the applications/modules in scope
• Excellent project/task management skills with a track record of successful delivery
• Proven ability to collaborate across business, operations, and IT teams (incl. engineering/development) to create holistic solutions
• Availability for critical after‑hours production deployments, system upgrades, data corrections, and patching
• Ability to work with teams/team members across multiple office locations/geographies
• Excellent communication skills
• Occasional travel within the USA
