Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to provide program and functional support for the Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) at Lackland AFB. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

1. Provide functional project management support for IT projects and resources.
2. Provide weekly status updates to the government PM regarding project status.
3. Act as the primary point of contact for project status and updates, including responding to inquiries from the program office.
4. Schedule and assign tasks in support of IT projects.
5. Work with the government management team to prioritize requirements and schedule deployments.
6. Act as the point of contact for IT projects, including an enterprise data center and the hosting enclave.
7. Maintain regular communication with AFCEC Cyber Security Team regarding project compliance status.
8. Update eMASS and ITIPS as needed.
9. Complete any program-level taskers assigned by the government customer.
10. Maintain/update project tasks and the ticket queue to ensure requests are resolved promptly.
11. Brief change requests and status updates at the monthly AFCEC SharePoint CCB.
12. Escalate pertinent tickets/issues to the Government PM as needed.
13. Attend weekly status meetings with contract leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum 8+ years experience in a business or systems analysis role, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience with project tracking, providing status updates, and resource identification for supporting IT projects. Proficiency with MS SharePoint, CSS, JavaScript, Power Apps (including Power BI and Power Automate). Knowledge of front-end UI/UX development. Ability to adapt to the customer environment, understand business needs, think strategically, and learn quickly. Strong critical thinking, analysis, and active listening skills. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. Must be a US Citizen.
