  • Assist in scenario planning and forecasting efforts to assess business performance under different assumptions and market conditions to contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans.
  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings into preliminary recommendations for the VP, clearly stating the "so what," alternatives, tradeoffs, key assumptions, risks, and recommended next steps.
Corporate Strategy Development & Support

  • Provide support in evaluating M&A, partnership, alliance, and other strategic transaction opportunities through strategic-fit assessment, commercial diligence, market analysis, valuation and economics, synergy analysis, scenario modeling, risk assessment, integration considerations, and decision materials.
Capital Allocation Strategy
  • Help develop and implement capital allocation strategies that ensure the best resource distribution across the business to maximize returns and minimize risks.
  • Provide the Sr Dir and applicable leadership with comparative analysis of competing uses of capital and management attention, explicitly quantifying opportunity cost and strategic tradeoffs.

  • Assist in preparing materials for the investor community, ensuring clear and compelling messaging around the company’s strategic positioning and performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs across Finance, Operations, Commercial, Legal, Engineering, and business-unit teams to obtain facts, reconcile data, challenge assumptions, document open issues, and move assigned strategy workstreams toward decision.
  • Support business units in executing strategic initiatives by maintaining owners, actions, milestones, assumptions, value-realization measures, and decision records.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in corporate development, strategy consulting, investment banking, strategic finance, market intelligence, or comparable analytical role.
