Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst to drive the development of our Power BI reporting environment and deliver dashboards that inform mortgage leadership. You will automate data validation, build semantic models, and translate data into actionable insights.
This fully remote role involves collaborating with a distributed analytics team to support key business decisions and growth initiatives, with a focus on storytelling through data.
Compensation Range: $105,000 - $115,000

The Mortgage Business Intelligence & Analytics team oversees all activities and functions involved with the company’s Business Intelligence platform, giving mortgage company business leaders access to reliable, actionable data to better manage and understand the business and drive company growth.
We are seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst todrivethe development of our Power BI reporting environment. The Reporting Analyst willbe responsible forcreating impactful dashboards and reports which deliver meaningful data to our business leaders toachieve organizational goals. This role will do more than compile tabular data; this role will have an opportunity to use data to tell a story, and help our team, as well as business leaders, derive meaningful insights.
The right candidate will have a strong background with Power BI. They will be detail oriented, with the ability to infer business needs and develop reporting solutions using data visualization best practices including leveraging Gestalt principles, Storytelling with Data, and visualization selectionprincipals. They will proactively run data quality checks to ensure the integrity of the information being delivered. Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn, becoming a subject matter expert to coincide with technical fluency. Stays abreast of the latest Power BI features andidentifiesthe right opportunities for implementation.Buildsrobust reports and dashboardsleveragingeverything from complex DAX calculations to advanced visualization techniques to meet bespoke business requirements.
