Amazon seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer with strong technical, analytical, and business intelligence skills to be a key partner for Amazon’s Advertising businesses.
This role supports multiple ads publisher businesses, including Amazon Stores, Amazon Business Ads, and Books Ads. The engineer will build business insights, analysis practices, and data infrastructure, providing visibility across Ads, Retail, and Finance organizations. The role involves generating insights to guide product and partner strategies, and supporting business strategy for senior leaders.
The Senior BI Engineer will influence business decisions by translating broad problems into analytics projects, conducting deep analyses, and communicating results. The role offers growth opportunities as data is transformed into actionable insights to fuel business growth. The engineer will also evaluate and promote new techniques and tools to improve value delivery.
Key skills include excellent business, communication, and technical abilities, with collaboration across functions like Product Management, Data Engineering, Finance, Software Engineering, Data Science, and leadership. The ideal candidate is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, handling large datasets, and working in a fast-paced environment.
