In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 12 years of related experience is required.* Expert proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).* Strong SQL skills and extensive experience with relational databases and complex queries.* Extensive experience with extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, data integration, and data warehousing.* Deep understanding of Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing concepts.* Advanced experience with reporting tools (Power BI).* Solid SQL skills and the ability to write complex, highly-optimized queries.* **Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Security Clearanc**e **Qualifications We Prefer:*** Master’s degree in a related field.* Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.* Certification in BI tools or data analytics.* Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).* Significant experience with Business Intelligence tools (one or more of the following: Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, qlikview, TIBCO Spotfire, SAP Business Objects, SAP Crystal Reports).* Advanced Power BI Skills:* Data Model design: familiarity with OLAP and Tabular model design principles.* Languages: Advanced DAX, Power Query (M).* Dashboard development, Workspace management, role-level security control.* Skills in other MS SQL Server technologies – SSIS, SSAS, Stored Procedures.* Knowledge of Python, Scala, PySpark, R or other languages is a plus.* Data profiling skills.* Knowledge of multiple development methodologies, preferably Agile.* Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. **Essential Functions:*** Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.* Frequent communication with team members and stakeholders.* Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.* Occasional travel may be required.* Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally.* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior BI developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the BI team.* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data needs and deliver high-quality BI solutions.* Foster strong collaboration with other departments, including IT, operations, and compliance, to ensure BI solutions are integrated seamlessly and support the broader organizational objectives.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.Estimated Starting Salary Range: $124,771.42 - $171,560.71.
