Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking a Data Engineer to own data flow from manufacturing and business systems to dashboards and reports. You will map data lineage end to end, protect integrity of key metrics, and support SOX compliance as a public company.

You will bridge IT and business units, design pipelines, and collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to translate processes into reliable data solutions, using Jira and Git for project and version-control work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, BI, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and pandas for data processing and transformation.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Experience using Jira for agile project and task management.
• Solid understanding of data lineage, data governance, and data quality practices.
• Familiarity with SOX controls as they apply to data and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.

**About the Role**We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team and own the flow of data from our manufacturing and business systems to the dashboards and reports leaders rely on. You'll map and maintain data lineage end to end, protect the integrity of key business metrics, and support our SOX compliance obligations as a public company. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $82,500 and $110,000 annually. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education, and/or certifications.Base salary is just one component of ZT Systems total rewards philosophy.
