What You´ll Do
- Supports Sales/Marketing in new technologies / projects / products through deep understanding of product / market / technology / customer.
- Collaborates closely with Marketing / Sales / KAM and Business Development to steer activities.
- Supports identifing future market trends, developments/product/service expectations and translates them into business growth opportunities.
- Analyzes and builds different future scenarios to create new paths of business incl. timing and investment planning.
- Develops and supports the strategy map / customer roadmaps and steers profitable growth globally / regionally / locally.
- Executes and customizes strategies for product / technology positioning and defines training and promotional needs with Marketing.
- Explores and supports acquisition and divestment projects.
- Builds relevant customer / market relationships and attends and supports relevant events, exebitions, trade fairs.
- Performs cross-functional coordination of processes and departments, initiates and supports innovation projects.
- Develops and implements business analysis instruments, provides market and competive intelligence.
- Aggregates product / technology / application / business model needs and communicates these to relevant key interfaces.
- Ensures that BDMs, Sales, KAM have the right business / market / customer transparency to prioritize activities accordingly.
What makes you a good fit
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Business Administration or Application Engineering is preferred
- 10 years minimum of relevant work experience in technical and or commercial roles
- Proven Expertise in the flexible packaging industry, specialized in coatings or plastic film manufacturing
- The ability to interpret market data, identifying trends and making informed business decisions.
- Technical aptitude and a strong product knowledge base.
- Excellent networking skills that will allow for building and maintaining relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel 30-50% of the time including travel to both Mexico and Canada

The salary for this role is $105,200.00 - $153,200.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
