Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to analyze large datasets and create actionable insights. You will design dashboards with Power BI, Snowflake, and SAP Business Objects, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into reporting solutions.

Travel to client sites across the United States is required. A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, plus proficiency in SAP BO, Power BI, and Snowflake, are expected. Visa sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science or related.
• 2 years of experience as Software Engineer, Business Analyst or related.
• Experience with SAP Business Objects, Power BI and Snowflake.
• Ability to analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets from multiple enterprise data sources to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities impacting business performance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements and translate them into analytical and reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Snowflake, and SAP Business Objects.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy of reports.
• Support forecasting, trend analysis, and performance measurement initiatives.
• Partner with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data models and access for analytics.
• Develop and maintain documentation on data definitions and reporting logic.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and security standards.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and enterprise transformation.
• Travel/relocation to client sites within the United States is required.

Cintal, Inc. (Peoria, IL) needs Senior Business Data Analyst:

• Analyze large and complex datasets from multiple enterprise data sources to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities impacting business performance.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and clarify business requirements and translate them into analytical and reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical visualizations using business intelligence and cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake, and SAP Business Objects.
• Provide data driven insights and recommendations to leadership and cross functional teams to support planning, performance management, and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports and analytical outputs.
• Support forecasting, trend analysis, and performance measurement initiatives using historical and current business data.
• Partner with data engineering and IT teams to ensure appropriate data models, data availability, and optimized access to enterprise data for analytics and reporting.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data definitions, business rules, reporting logic, and analytics processes.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and information security standards while accessing and analyzing enterprise data.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to establishing best practices for business analytics, reporting standards, and data usage across the organization.
• Participate in cross functional initiatives and provide analytical expertise to support enterprise transformation and continuous improvement efforts.
• Travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites within the United States only is required. Exact client site location and frequency of travel cannot be predicted as it may vary/change depending on project availability.

Salary Offered: $136,490.00 per year

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science or related.

Experience Requirements: 2 years of experience as Software Engineer, Business Analyst or related.

Special Skills: Must have 2 years’ experience in SAP Business Objects, Power BI, and Snowflake.

Alternate Experience Requirements: In lieu of the above, employer will accept 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Business Analyst, or related occupation. No degree required.
