Job summary

DHL Supply Chain seeks a Senior Business Data Analyst to transform warehouse data into actionable insights, build dashboards, and support operations across sites. Lead Power BI reporting, data modeling, ETL design, and analytics tool adoption using SQL, DAX, Python, and statistics, while guiding cross‑site projects and communicating insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, mathematics, statistics, or related field or 4 years of equivalent professional experience is required.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or a related field is required.
• Extensive experience using SQL or scripting languages (Python or R) to query, clean, and transform data is required.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboards and reports from scratch, is required.
• Proficiency in writing DAX expressions to automate and enhance Power BI reports is required.
• Experience designing and managing data pipelines and working with diverse data sources is required.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts, data modeling, and modern analytics trends is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate data into actionable insights are required.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and lead cross-functional projects is required.
• Must be able to work fully onsite if role based out of a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Full development of Power BI including data visualization and back-end data model design.
• Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements.
• Implement and maintain standard reporting tools for the site or sector.
• Assist various functional teams with customized analytical solutions.
• Serve as a point of contact for Power BI-related questions and analytics community initiatives.
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to promote data literacy and tool adoption.
• Manage analytics projects independently across multiple sites.
• Design and implement data pipelines (ETL) from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources.

Schedule: This position follows a regular 5-day schedule and may be either Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday, ensuring coverage on one weekend day each week.

The Sr Business Data Analyst role has a national salary range of $70,000 - $115,000.

For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $115,000 and Washington is $80,169 - $115,000.

Required Experience
