FedEx Logistics is seeking a Senior Business Architect to guide the identification of business value through analysis, planning, and design of both manual and automated solutions within a domain. You will collaborate with business and technical architects to align on goals and deliver effective solutions.
The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with responsibilities spanning from capability analysis to modeling current and future states.
The primary responsibilities of the Senior Business Architect include guiding the identification of business value through analysis, planning, and design of manual and automated solutions within a domain.
Bachelors degree in engineering, business information systems, computer science, or other quantitative discipline.
Five (5) years of experience with a minimum of three (3) of the following areas: application development or maintenance, transportation/logistics operations, business analysis, business process modeling, business object or logical data modeling, business and/or IT standards/processes, software design. Experience with architecture techniques in a wide range of projects and complexities. Experience working with business capability or domain analysis.

Planning and organizing abilities.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams with business area, system architect and developer representation, with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
Some travel required.
Preferred skills: Global clearance experience. Business Architect process and business documentation requirements. Domicile location to be determine. Remote option is available.

The desired location for this position is Memphis, TN (MEM) location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
