Job Description

This role involves analyzing complex business problems using internal and external data to provide insights for decision-making. The analyst identifies trends, constructs forecasts, and creates reports based on business needs. Collaboration with clients to customize analysis and reports is essential. The role may focus on internal operations or external clients and includes participation in management reviews.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Gather requirements through interviews, documentation, and workshops.
• Translate customer needs into operational requirements.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze and transform needs into functional specifications.
• Recommend process improvements, cost savings, or revenue enhancements.
• Develop Business Requirements Documents, Test Plans, and training materials.
• Participate in all project stages from research to implementation to ensure requirements are met.

Job Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:

• 5-7 years in business analysis.
• 6+ years in managed care.
• Proficiency in relevant concepts and procedures.
• Ability to manage escalations independently.
• Proactive communication, detail orientation, adaptability, strong organizational skills.

Preferred Experience:

• 3-5 years in Project Management training.
• Experience with technical teams, claims investigation, provider relations, and reporting tools like Salesforce, Facets, Excel.
• Background in managed care or claims research.

Preferred Certifications: CBAP or similar from IIBA.
