WideNet Consulting Group is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to serve as the primary liaison between clients and the software development team in Bellevue, WA. You will own the end-to-end requirements process and guide analysis and project leadership to deliver aligned solutions.
With 7+ years of BA experience, you will translate business needs into detailed requirements, drive documentation quality, and lead cross-functional teams to meet client objectives on time and within scope.
Work location: Must be onsite 50% of the time at the Bellevue, WA office
We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst with 7+ years experience that will serve as the primary liaison between the client community and the software development team, making sure business needs are clearly understood, well documented, and accurately translated into working solutions. This person owns the requirements process end to end and provides leadership on projects, guiding both the analysis effort and the people involved.
Act as the bridge between clients and the development team, translating business goals into clearly documented functional, system, and process requirements.
Gather requirements through a range of techniques, including interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process reviews, workflow analysis, and use cases.
Evaluate information from multiple sources to build a clear understanding of each client's business requests and underlying needs.
Translate business needs into detailed application and operational requirements the development team can act on.
Produce and maintain clear, thorough documentation that keeps clients and technical teams aligned throughout the project.
Lead projects or working groups, coordinating tasks, timelines, and stakeholders to keep work moving toward the right outcome.
Partner with clients to validate requirements and confirm that delivered solutions meet their business objectives.
7+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in an IT services or software delivery environment.
Strong requirements gathering and elicitation skills across a variety of methods.
Ability to analyze information from many sources and translate it into clear, actionable requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to lead a project or group.
Solid understanding of business process and workflow analysis.
Experience with requirements or project management tools.
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
Relevant certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA.
Pay Range:$75.00 - $85.00 per hour, depending upon experience.
