Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sr Business Analyst to partner with Finance, IT, and the broader organization to centralize forecasting and accounting processes and reporting.

You will design solutions, govern processes, and translate business needs into IT requirements, coordinating testing and end-user training. Ideal candidates will use SQL, Python, and R to analyze data, create Tableau visualizations, and support data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Finance process and standard methodologies like budgeting, variance analysis, and driver-based planning.
• Utilizing database design, development, and administration to analyze user requirements and develop logical system solutions.
• Using analytics and data platforms, including SQL, Python, and R, to extract, analyze, and interpret data to support business and reporting needs.
• Creating data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau to communicate insights and support data-driven decision making.
• Applying SDLC and Agile methodologies to support system design, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conducting business analysis and stakeholder interviews to develop recommendations and implementation plans, including defining scope, milestones, dependencies, and risks for organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Use end to end systems thinking to design, document and implement solutions to meet strategic and operational goals.
• Coordinate and lead functional and user acceptance testing and capture signoff.
• Support tool adoption by leading education sessions and training end users.
• Provide in-depth, domain specific analysis of technical problems or issues, research and recommend alternative actions for problem resolution.
• Support end users with production issues and enable end user self-sufficiency in the application.
• Collaborate with IT to perform system integrations and provide ongoing business support.
