You will collaborate with vendors and risk provider groups to enable secure data exchange and empower decision-making with data insights. You will develop test cases, ensure quality output, and coordinate requirements, specs, and user acceptance testing with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar.
• Experience with health plan data like medical/pharmacy claims.
• Experience in Medicare CMS file standards.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Sr. Business Analyst willbe responsible for gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirementsand translating the requirements to the technical team. S/he will also beworking with vendors, risk provider groups to integrate between systems throughconsistent, secure data exchange. S/he will be responsible for retrieving andanalyzing data to assist end users with their business decisions. Therequirements gathered are reviewed with internal IT team and provided to thedevelopment team. S/he will be responsible for development of business testcases and ensuring quality output is delivered.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Working closely with alllevels of end users, including executive level staff, to quickly understand newrequirements or problems, and then suggest a possible solution. Understandtheir reporting requirements and put together requirements and supportsolutioning discussions for the requirements.
• Working with vendors, riskprovider groups to discuss integration needs and ensuring ultimate businessgoals are achieved through right data solutions.
• Gathering and performingthorough analyses of all the information available.
• Enhancing business processeswhen applicable.
• Creating and documenting thebusiness requirements.
• Communicating with thedevelopment team to schedule development of system configuration ormodifications and/or new modules.
• Developing test cases andperform testing to ensure requirements are met for data extracts.
• Demonstrate leadership bycoordinating the requirements, specifications, and user acceptance testingefforts.
• Other duties may beassigned.
