About the Role:

As a Senior Budget Analyst, you will provide senior-level business and financial management support to contribute to the capabilities of homeland security.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

1. Supporting all aspects of the client’s Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) lifecycle, such as resource allocation planning, OMB justifications, congressional justifications, performance and funds execution reporting, and more.
2. Acting as the budget point of contact for issues between client divisions, analysts, and finance/budget divisions.
3. Supporting the Business Financial Manager and budget team in fiscal execution, development, and coordination of activities.
4. Managing and executing budget-related taskers and serving as the point of contact for congressional taskers.
5. Assisting in policy development, spend plan development, and funding realignments.
6. Maintaining tracking sheets, supporting leadership in financial policy interpretation, and developing program strategies.
7. Providing budget analysis, creating financial presentations, and supporting the development of financial dashboards.
8. Facilitating meetings, analyzing program data, and preparing project timelines and transition plans.

Locations:

You will work as part of a hybrid team in the Washington, DC, metro area, with an expectation of working at the client site two days a week.

Required Experience:

• BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or Master’s + 5 years.
• Must have an active SECRET clearance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Favorable DHS contractor fitness determination within the last 5 years.
• Previous experience supporting the Department of Homeland Security.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) environment.
• Knowledge of and recent experience working with DHS offices, Congress, and other stakeholders.
