The Position

Our bank client seeks to fill a Sr. BSA/AML Compliance Analyst role in Chicago, IL. The position involves performing BSA/AML activity monitoring, analytics, and reporting. (This is not a remote position).

Sr. BSA/AML Compliance Analyst responsibilities include:

• Handling complex, higher risk customers and alert types.
• Performing and documenting sufficient KYC/CDD information to support alert resolution.
• Conducting detailed reviews of alerted transactions to assess activity in relation to customer relationships based on KYC/CDD data.
• Applying technical knowledge to identify risks, patterns, and trends related to money laundering and terrorist financing.
• Using internal systems, databases, and internet research to gather information supporting analysis and conclusions regarding transactional activity.
• Preparing write-ups supporting conclusions about transaction reasonableness or recommending escalation of suspicious activity.
• Adhering to confidentiality policies, ethics, and BSA/AML laws and regulations.
• Incorporating feedback from QC functions into future work.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Chief BSA/AML/OFAC Officer.

• Preferred CAMS or CRCM certification.
• 5+ years of experience with BSA transaction monitoring.
