Sr. Brand Manager

Summary

The Sr. Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies with a strong focus on in-field event execution and digital engagement. This role leads the planning and deployment of strategic events and leverages digital platforms to enhance brand visibility, generate demand, and drive conversion across the full product and service portfolio. Success in this position requires a deep understanding of the B2B/professional channel, with demonstrated expertise in driving customer adoption, increasing engagement, and accelerating market penetration.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies to achieve brand objectives, focusing on driving awareness, lead generation, and product adoption.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of all B2B-facing events throughout the year, collaborating closely with sales teams and key opinion leaders to ensure aligned messaging and maximize event impact. This role requires up to 40% travel, including some weekends.
  • Create and manage quarterly and annual marketing plans aligned with revenue targets, business goals, and product portfolio strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Director and Marketing Operations Manager to develop and execute B2B digital marketing initiatives—including email campaigns, paid media, SEO/SEM, social media, and marketing automation—to drive engagement and conversion across multiple digital channels.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of digital campaigns to ensure they meet KPIs, such as lead generation, customer acquisition, and conversion.
  • Work closely with sales team to ensure alignment between marketing and sales efforts, providing the tools and support needed for successful lead generation, customer engagement, and sales conversion.
  • Collaborate with product development, clinical teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure B2B promotional marketing efforts align with product features, regulatory requirements, and clinical protocols.
  • Engage with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and key customers to gather insights and feedback that inform marketing promotional strategies.
  • Manage respective marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to high-impact campaigns and initiatives.

Skills Required

  • Proven leadership skills in managing and motivating direct reports, leading cross-functional teams, and engaging effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of event management and brand management principles, with the ability to drive strategic demand generation.
  • Ability to develop and execute long-term and short-term marketing plans.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills to lead events plan, campaigns and initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Expertise in setting measurable goals and aligning marketing strategies with revenue targets and business priorities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels, including email campaigns, SEO/SEM, social media, paid media, and marketing automation.
  • Knowledge of data-driven marketing and ability to analyze and interpret data to refine strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey brand messaging clearly and persuasively.
  • Skilled at presenting marketing strategies, campaign results, and brand plans to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to market, technology, or organizational priorities changes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and identify innovative solutions in dynamic business environments.

Education And Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in event and brand management, within B2B, medical device or healthcare sector.
  • Proven experience in team management.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, with hands-on expertise in email campaigns, SEO/SEM, social media, paid media, and marketing automation.
  • Strong track record of driving brand growth and achieving measurable marketing goals, with experience tracking ROI and optimizing marketing campaigns.
  • Proven track record of originating innovative ideas and executing them to a high standard to meet business goals.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has will have direct reports and, when required will be responsible for mentoring peers and other departments.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. (Add anything that may be strange about the position, i.e. this employee must be ok visiting medical offices)

Travel

This position requires at least 40% travel for business purposes, including some weekends.
