Job summary

Systegration in Chicago downtown is seeking a Senior Backend Java Developer for a 100% onsite multi-year contract. You will lead backend design, implement Java 11+ code, and work across teams to deliver scalable services in microservices architecture.

The role requires 15+ years of Java, experience with relational and NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, API proxies, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Onsite interview process includes two rounds and an onsite final.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of Java experience with Java 11+
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience applying MVC, Microservices, and Event-Driven architectures
• Proficient in TDD/BDD approaches
• CI/CD deployment experience (Jenkins, GoCD, Azure DevOps)
• Cloud deployment on AWS or Azure and with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, Kinesis)
• Designing RESTful APIs and API proxies (Apigee Edge, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Gateway)
• API testing with Swagger; testing with Selenium and Cucumber

Client – Direct Client (Fortune 100 company).

Visa – H1b, Green Card & US- Citizens only. (No OPTs or CPTS)

Rate – Open.

Location - Chicago Downtown - Client will review local profiles only!

Interview - 2 Rounds of MS Teams & 1 onsite F2F interview!

Requirements:

• Must have 15+yrs of experience with Java 11 or higher version and should be able to do coding.
• Experience developing apps using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Application architectural patterns such as MVC, Microservices, Event Driven.
• TDD and BDD development.
• Deployment using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GoCD, Azure DevOps etc.
• Deploying and maintaining software using public clouds such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience working with MQs/Msg. Brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, Apache ActiveMQ, Kinesis - at least one of those.
• Batch or stream processing.
• Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs.
• Experience writing API proxies on platforms such as Apigee Edge, AWS API Gateway or Azure API Gateway (at least one of those).
• Hands one experience with API tools such as Swagger and Assertible.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
