Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Clinical Experience Product and Engineering Team. The engineer will focus on developing backend APIs for front-end applications, ensuring seamless integration with EHR systems like Athena, Cerner, Epic, Allscripts, and Meditech.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to expanding our cloud-native enterprise solutions in the healthcare industry. You will work within a scrum team, collaborating with Architects, Product Managers, and Engineers to deliver solutions that facilitate vital healthcare information flow.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality code using Java and SpringBoot, aligned with architectural patterns.
• Create secure, scalable RESTful APIs and participate in system architecture and development.
• Define requirements and implement test cases following TDD.
• Ensure code meets specifications and participate in scrum ceremonies and PI Planning.
• Maintain at least 80% code coverage and deliver features on time.
• Document solutions through diagrams and architectural designs.
• Perform code reviews.

Preferences

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Strong knowledge of OOAD, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of message brokers, container management (Docker, Kubernetes), and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience with GCP and BDD is a plus.
