IDR, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Azure DBA/Fabric Engineer to join one of our top clients in Atlanta, GA.

You will manage Azure SQL and SQL Server environments and support Microsoft Fabric components in a hybrid cloud setting. The role emphasizes performance tuning, backups, HA/DR, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize Fabric workloads and lakehouses. Ideal candidates have senior level experience with Azure SQL/SQL Server, Fabric administration, and strong troubleshooting skills;

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience with Azure SQL and SQL Server database administration.
• Strong understanding of performance tuning, troubleshooting, backups, and recovery strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric components: workspaces, capacities, lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks, and semantic models.
• Proven ability to support and administer Fabric environments effectively.
• Demonstrated experience diagnosing production performance issues with HA/DR approaches.
