Job Opportunity: Azure Cloud Engineer (Remote)

Location: 100% Remote

Job Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with multiple product teams to implement Azure Cloud solutions.
2. Develop software for infrastructure automation and monitoring.
3. Support building and migrating applications, software, and services on Azure.
4. Troubleshoot production issues and perform on-call duties on a rotation basis (24x7).
5. Provide technical leadership in cloud solutions within an agile environment.
6. Define cloud solutions, implement services, and identify risks for successful deployments.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years in software engineering and development, with experience in requirement analysis, development, integration, installation, maintenance, and testing using languages like C#, Java, JavaScript in Windows and Linux environments.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS.
• Basic understanding of HTML, GUI web interfaces, AJAX, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, SMTP, HTTP, load balancers, high availability architecture, and zero-downtime deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux servers.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), GitHub, Chef, Jenkins, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like ServiceNow.
