Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to drive the remaining on-premises to Azure migration, design scalable cloud patterns, and elevate cloud engineering capabilities. You will manage Azure VM migrations, networking, Entra/AAD, and IaC automation, while mentoring junior engineers and integrating CI/CD for infrastructure deployments.

The role requires strong Azure expertise and on-call availability; remote collaboration is expected for a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Extensive Azure infrastructure engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Support remaining on-prem-to-Azure lift-and-shift migration work.
• Assist with Azure VM migration planning, validation, cutover, and post-migration cleanup.
• Support Azure infrastructure design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for complex cloud, infrastructure, AVD, Entra, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with Azure networking, private connectivity, DNS, routing, and access troubleshooting.
• Support Terraform / Infrastructure as Code implementation and maintenance.
• Support CI/CD pipeline integration for infrastructure deployment where needed.
• Assist with backup, monitoring, logging, and operational readiness checks.
• Help document migration patterns, runbooks, and operational handoffs.
• Support future acquisition/integration readiness through scalable cloud patterns.
• Mentor junior or newer cloud team members where appropriate.
