Job summary

Health Care Service Corp. is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable, secure AWS infrastructure. You will leverage Terraform for IaC, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, and manage SQL Server deployments to support data-driven applications.

The role requires strong problem solving, collaboration across teams, and travel up to 20%. This hybrid position expects 3 days on-site in Nashville, with a focus on automation, performance, and reliable data integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience required.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation).
• IaC using Terraform with modules and state management.
• GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and multi-environment deployments.
• SQL Server in DevOps, including backups and migrations.
• Tableau dashboards and data sources for insights.
• Strong problem solving, analytical thinking, and execution.
• Up to 20% travel.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, database management with SQL Server, and data visualization through Tableau. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS, as well as optimizing workflows for efficient deployments and data integration.

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 year Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience.
• Experience with AWS: Proficient in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• Terraform: Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including module creation, state management, and best practices.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions: Expertise in GitHub Actions for building CI/CD pipelines, including artifact management, environment setup, and multi-environment deployment workflows.
• SQL Server DevOps: Experience with SQL Server in DevOps environments, focusing on backup automation, database migrations, and version control.
• Data Visualization with Tableau: Ability to design and manage Tableau dashboards, data connections, and data sources to provide actionable insights.
• System performance management.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range

$92,700.00 - $167,500.00

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
