Job description

A growing and successful control systems integration and services company is seeking Automation and Controls Engineers with Emerson DeltaV DCS experience in Spokane, WA, or available for remote work. The role involves analyzing requirements for installation, commissioning, inspecting system hardware and software, troubleshooting, resolving problems, and managing customer needs over time. Candidates should have technical acumen, critical analysis skills, attention to detail, and strong computer skills. Travel to remote customer sites across the United States is required.

Responsibilities

  • Configuration, installation, and commissioning of Emerson's DeltaV DCS platform
  • Focus on configuration/programming, installation, maintenance, testing, startup, upgrading, and troubleshooting
  • Work with DCS, PLC systems, and industrial process instrumentation

Requirements

  • 4+ years of DeltaV DCS experience
  • Strong computer, server, and networking skills, with basic industrial instrumentation knowledge
  • Instrumentation (I&E) or engineering background is helpful; emphasis on programming and technical support of control systems
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
  • Compliance with customer site access requirements
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.; sponsorship not available
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 25+ pounds periodically
  • Respond to dangerous situations
  • Bending, walking, climbing, kneeling, sitting, standing for extended periods
  • Wearing PPE/Safety gear as required
