Job summary

Job description

To provide legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries to ensure their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, local and/or international laws.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate Degree from an A.B.A accredited law school and admission to the bar.
  • At least six (6) years of experience and demonstrated competence as a practicing attorney in relevant area of law.
  • Superior academic record.
  • Ability to determine appropriateness of settlement or litigation.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation, human relations and communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference in Memphis | Employment Litigation law particularly Title VII; employment litigation experience; investigations experience, leave and accommodation law; strong written and verbal communication skills; project management experience; strong judgment and decision-making; attention to detail; collaboration and teamwork; Microsoft Office proficinecy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) | Law Firm employment litigation experience

Sr Attorney I&II: Mkt N & Y: $9,932.42 - $19,864.85 |Mkt M: $11,422.28 - $22,844.58 Sr Counsel: Mkt N & Y: $10,514.54 - $21,029.09| Mkt M: $12,091.72 - $24,183.45

Additional Details

This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN (preferred), PGH, PA, Plano, TX, Irvine, CA, or DC and candidates must live within 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
