Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Senior Attorney, Residential Real Estate to join our Summerville, South Carolina office.

You will lead residential closings, review settlement statements and loan documents, and advise buyers, sellers, and lenders to ensure compliant, efficient transactions. Requirements include 5+ years of residential real estate experience, an active South Carolina law license (NC licensure a plus), a Notary Public appointment, and a proven ability to develop referral

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential real estate experience.
• Active South Carolina law license in good standing (NC licensure a plus).
• Significant experience conducting residential real estate closings.
• Strong title examination and title curative skills.
• Familiarity with title insurance underwriting requirements.
• Current South Carolina Notary Public appointment.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and client service skills.
• Proven ability to develop referral relationships and business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential real estate closings in compliance with state laws and firm guidelines
• Review settlement statements, closing packages, contracts, and loan documents for accuracy and compliance
• Conduct title examinations, identify title defects, and perform title curative work
• Draft and review deeds, affidavits, easements, powers of attorney, and related legal documents
• Serve as a trusted advisor to buyers, sellers, lenders, builders, investors, and real estate professionals
• Build and maintain relationships with Realtors®, lenders, builders, developers, and other industry partners
• Participate in networking, community engagement, and business development initiatives
• Help drive office growth while delivering exceptional client experiences
