This role supports toy portfolio management by assisting with strategy and the product development pipeline, with a focus on marketing support for Thomas & Friends toy products.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development of toy strategy by segment
  • Support the toy pricing architecture and competitive positioning
  • Assist in gathering consumer/play insights specific to toy usage and play patterns
  • Collaborate with Design/R&D to bring toys from concept to shelf
  • Support toy business performance (POS performance and SKU metrics revenue, margin, productivity)
  • Provide input to Brand Marketing on packaging, messaging, and feature storytelling
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience
  • Project management skills with potential to manage complex product development timelines
  • Strong quantitative/analytical/financial skills (forecasting, pricing, SKU productivity and competitive analysis)
  • Financial acumen and experience with P&L management
  • Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams (e.g., design and manufacturing)
  • Excellent storytelling, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Strong PowerPoint creation and presentation skills, proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience in category management, product marketing, or product development
  • Background in CPG or toy companies, ideally with exposure to retail buyer dynamics
  • Retail/channel knowledge and the ability to leverage insights to build mass, specialty, and e‑commerce distribution strategies
