Job description

We Are Hiring
  • Department: Ascension Investment Management (AIM)
  • Schedule: Full-Time: Monday-Friday
  • Location: Remote
What You Will Do

Plan, coordinate, and administer complex operational investment and accounting activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain processes for tracking, monitoring, recording, and reconciling investments and related activities.
  • Collaborate with external third-party service providers and internal systems to enhance automation for document retrieval and organization. Develop tools and templates to improve data processing for current and prospective investment managers.
  • Manage external alternative investment database and related private reporting. Enhance market insight capabilities by retrieving and analyzing data from the external investment database.
  • Review and monitor client balances and facilitate the distribution of capital to/from clients as needed.
  • Assist with adding and removing accounts. Support monthly accounting close procedures.
  • Contribute to risk management and compliance reporting, including liquidity metrics, rating agency reports, and compliance documentation. Support rebalancing across all participants and portfolios.
What You Will Need

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of relevant job-specific experience.
Additional Preferences
  • Interest or experience in investing and accounting preferred.
  • Experience with databases and large datasets highly desirable.
  • Prior programming experience with R, Python, and/or JavaScript preferred.
